Shut Out My House!

It’s raining/pouring/coming down in buckets outside and I’m completely/totally/utterly locked out of my house! I tried everything/all my tricks but the door is tightly/firmly/securely shut. My keys are safely inside/trapped inside/lost inside. I don't know what to do!

* Could someone please help me get in/break in/figure out how to get back into my house?

* Is there a locksmith/handyman/someone nearby who could come and help me out/rescue me/unlock the door?

I'm freezing/cold/starting to shiver and I need to get warm/get inside/make it back home as soon as possible.

Trapped with Keys Inside

Ugh, there’s nothing more frustrating than being stranded because your keys are trapped inside your car. You've tried all the common solutions, but that stubborn door won't budge. You might even be starting to get a tad overwhelmed as you realize how difficult this situation is.

  • Hopefully, , you finally get to your car, and realize—your keys are locked in! Your thoughts spiral. What do you do? Do you try of breaking into the car yourself|it yourself|by yourself? Or do you phone a roadside assistance and wait for the best?

    • Don't panic!
    • Check around.
    • Maybe someone has a spare key?

    Oh No! My Keys Are Locked in My Car

    It happened again. I walked up to my/your/it's car, totally focused on/thinking about/caught up with something else/where I was going/what I had to do, and realized/found out/suddenly remembered that my keys were inside the car/locked inside/trapped in my vehicle/ride/auto. I slapped/kicked/jabbed my forehead in frustration. Of course! The only time I could be this forgetful/careless/absent-minded is when I'm already running late/in a hurry/up against the clock. Now what? My phone is dead/almost dead/buried deep in my bag, and there isn't a soul/person/single living creature around to help.

    Maybe/ Perhaps/I wonder if I can jimmy/pick/get into the car with something? Nope/No way/Definitely not. That wouldn't work, and besides, I don't want to/feel like/have any desire to risk damaging my car. This is a classic/major/serious problem.

    • Reach out to a tow truck? That would be the safest/most reliable/least stressful option, but it's definitely expensive/costly/going to break the bank.
    • Check with family or roommates? Maybe/Perhaps/It's worth a shot.

    {I guess it's time to/This is my chance to/The only thing left to do is to think outside the box.

    Can't Get In : Lost My House Keys

    Just my luck! I was/am/have been walking around like a crazy person with my pockets turned out. I can't believe it, I lost my house keys! Now I'm utterly outside my own place. It's the worst/most awful/craziest feeling in the world. {I checked/Did I check/Have I i ve locked my keys in the car checked every pocket, but they're nowhere to be found. I even looked under the mat/rug/door. This is a disaster/an absolute nightmare/terrible.

    Now what?

    Trapped Outside: Lost Keys and Despair

    Well, here I stand, a prisoner inside my own apartment. The handle is shut tight, and my little metal friends have vanished into thin air. As if the world were playing with me, I've searched high and low, but they're nowhere to be found.

    This is a true catastrophe. My phone's drained, and I'm starting to sweat. I've even thought about using a credit card as a makeshift opener, but that seems more unlikely than helpful.
